Tony Kiniry
Managing Director: Institutional Sales Trading
Tony Kiniry joins Caris & Company after four years at Fox-Pitt Kelton, where he was Head of Equity Trading and member of the US management committee. From 1986 to 1993 he was a Principal at Morgan Stanley and Head Trader on the NASDAQ trading desk. Mr. Kiniry was a Managing Director at Soundview Technology Group and Head of NASDAQ trading in 1996. Along with several top investment bankers and research analysts, Mr. Kiniry moved to Deutsche Bank as a Managing Director and Head of NASDAQ trading. Between 1996 and 1999 the Deutsche Bank Technology Group built the worlds leading technology stock research, and underwriting practice. Mr. Kiniry moved with the group to Credit Suisse First Boston in 1999.
He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Urban Studies. Tony resides in Westport, Ct. with his wife and children. Tony holds the following securities registrations: 4, 24, 7, 55, and 63.
James R. Alperin
Senior Vice President: Institutional Sales Trading
Mr. Alperin brings 15 years of Wall street experience as a Sales trader to Caris and Company. After starting his career at Soundview Financial, Mr. Alperin moved on to become the leading producer and Partner at C.E Unterberg Towbin. From there he moved on to run the Desk at Kaufman Bros., L.P. During his Fifteen years on the street, Mr. Alperin has developed strong relationships with both Major Hedge and Mutual Funds in the Tri-State area.
He holds the following securities registrations: Series 4, 7, 24 and 63.
Tom Zerega
Senior Vice President: Institutional Sales Trading
Mr. Zerega brings over 25 years of Institutional Trading and Sales Trading experience to Caris & Company. He began his career on Wall Street at E.F. Hutton and Co. as a Senior Accountant and moved on to the Institutional Equity Sales Trading desk before joining their Convertible Arbitrage Department where he spent several years setting up hedged positions and making markets to hedge funds in Convertible Preferred's, Bonds, Lyon's, Warrants, and Options. He joined Rochdale Securities Corporation as a Domestic Equity Sales Trader and then continued his career at Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder where he became a senior member of the International Institutional Equity Sales Trading team. He has spent the last seven years as Vice President and Equity Sales Trader in Key Bank Corp's McDonald's Investment Division covering major Institutional accounts.
Mr. Zerega graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Economics and from St. John's University Graduate School of Business with an M.B.A. in Finance. He holds the Series 7 and 63 securities registrations.
Colin Butler
Vice President: Institutional Sales Trading
Prior to joining Caris & Company in 2002, Mr. Butler held positions working with high net worth individuals at both Charles Schwab and Piper Jaffray. Through superior performance and demonstrated ability he has risen through the organization to become Vice President on the Equity Trading desk, where he provides sales trading coverage to the firm's institutional clients, as well as a select few of the nation's largest individual investors.
Mr. Butler graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Economics. He holds the Series 7, 55, and 63 registrations.

Todd H. McWilliams
Managing Director: Institutional Sales Trading
Mr. McWilliams brings 18 years of Wall Street experience as a leading NASDAQ market maker, an institutional sales trader and a management professional. Mr. McWilliams joins Caris & Company from Robertson Stephens, where he served as Managing Director of the Biotechnology Group. At Robertson Stephens, Mr. McWilliams was the driving force behind one of the most successful, insightful, and prolific biotechnology teams on Wall Street. He gained national recognition and praise not only for creating the premier trading group of the sector, but also for his adept leadership in guiding Wall Street's largest investors through one of the most complex industry sectors in the new economy. During his previous employment at Gruntal and Co., Wedbush, Morgan and Kidder, Peabody, Mr. McWilliams has always shown superior performance and risen to the top of his division.
Mr. McWilliams holds the Series 7, 24, 55, and 63 licenses. He is one of the founding members of Caris & Company.
John S. Coons
Senior Vice President: Institutional Sales
Prior to joining Caris & Company, Mr. Coons spent over 7 years at Bear Stearns in San Francisco. At Bear Stearns, he applied his experience, deep analytical skills, and sophisticated market sense in the servicing of many of the firm's top institutional clients. His leadership and dedication to customer service earned him accolades for being one of Bear's top Managing Directors of institutional sales. Mr. Coons spent the first two and a half years of his career at Hambrecht & Quist after earning his BS in Finance from San Diego State University.

Pamela L. Kustas
Senior Vice President: Institutional Sales
Ms. Kustas joins Caris & Company most recently from Americas Growth Capital where she was a Principle for Sales Trading. With 14 years of Institutional experience, she began her career at John Hancock Advisers supporting the High Yield and Equity Teams. In 1995, she moved onto the Equity Desk where she traded domestic and foreign equities for the Mutual Funds and Pension Products. She ran their Syndicate Book and coordinated all the aftermarket orders. In 1998, she was one among six sales traders chosen to open the Boston office for Schwab Capital Markets as they made a push into the institutional arena providing coverage to institutional accounts on the East Coast and remained there until 2004.
Ms. Kustas graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Industrial Economics. She holds the following registrations: Series 7, 55, and 63. She is a member of the Market Technicians Association. For the Boston Securities Traders Association, she served as the inaugural Chairperson of the Charity Foundation Committee and is currently an active member.
